The adventure forest in Saas-Fee has been opened in July 2004. Swing on a liana from tree to tree or walk unsteadily across hanging bridges: a forest full of adventure for the whole family with various routes and degrees of difficulty.

The Almagellerhorn adventure trail is the perfect hike for adventurous families, young people and the young at heart.

Animal treasure hunt
A further summer attraction is the animal treasure hunt. The task is easy: You have to find eight different animal stations. Each station is dedicated to an alpine animal, about which you will find out lots of interesting information.

Hiking with buggies
Even at high altitudes there are magnificent hiking trails that Daddy can easily navigate with a baby carriage or stroller without breaking a sweat.

Hohsi-Land
Kreuzboden above Saas-Grund is not only the starting point for many lovely hikes, but is also well worth a visit in its own right - especially for children! Hohsi-Land has a playground, a petting zoo, a water park and a themed trail for children.

Mountain-bike tours
Explore the Saas Valley on a mountain bike! A network of trails about 70 km long awaits the mountain-biker. The Saas Valley bike card can be bought at the local tourist offices.

Petting zoo
Small animals are so cute and sweet. You'll love the goats, marmots, rabbits and chickens. High up in the mountains you'll discover the chamois. At "Spielboden" the marmots will eat out of your hand, and in our petting zoos, the animals will enjoy your gentle cuddles. You and the animals will get to know and understand each other.

In the midst of a fascinating mountain landscape, beautiful barbecue and picnic places provide spaces where the entire family can relax. Can you build a fire?
This summer, on the sunny Hannig mountain, there will also be an adventure playground for kids. You'll be playing high above Saas-Fee, and the mountains will be close enough to touch.

The Fairytale trail
The big family treat for the summer is surely the fairytale trail - a trail of fairy tales and legends! The trail which extends between Melchboden and Bärenfalle was opened in June 2006 and it's been extended in summer 2007 by 3 new fairytales.
