A walk in the snowy landscape of the Saas Valley is a must! Explore our 60km winter hiking network. A moment of pure joy in nature!

Winter hiking trails require increased attention and caution regarding weather and the risk of slipping.

  • Wearing sturdy shoes with snow-grip soles - mountain spikes - Grödel and appropriate equipment for the weather are required.
  • Sections of the path with black ice are marked, but can only be accessed at your own risk.

Winter hiking pass

All mountain railways in the Saas Valley are included with the winter hiking pass. This makes winter hiking much more enjoyable.

Please take the following points into consideration when winter hiking:

  • Observe the signs of the avalanche warning service and which paths are closed.
  • Do not leave any waste behind in nature.
  • Always keep your dog on a leash.
  • Do not leave the marked paths so as not to disturb the wildlife.
